Amazon says Proteus navigates freely among employees, unlike caged drives.
Amazon's fully autonomous mobile robot for moving carts in fulfillment centers. Amazon says it uses sensors to travel outside the specialist-only zones used by earlier drives such as Titan and Hercules. Robotics 24/7 reported an Amazon engineer describing a speed-and-separation safety bubble and compliance with the R15.08 mobile-robot standard.
